Hospital visit....
Last Tuesday I was admitted to the hospital after my Ultrasound that was a follow up to my "low fluid". My levels went down. Right away afterwards, my Dr was paged and he didnt hesitate to get me admitted. They put me on IV fluids and bedrest to see if my levels went up through the night. I went from a 2.9 to 7.1. What WOOHOO! they kept me for one more night because one of the "NST" they did through the day indicated that I was actually having contractions...shock face...been telling them for how long? Just as much as the fluid issue?
I finally got a resident Dr. and another OB from the same practice as my Ob. Both were great, OB Dr brought in a HUGEass Hershey bar to give to the nurses and I was joking around with the charge nurse about giving me chocolate...
.The dr broke off a big ol chunk and sent it with her to tell me i was only allowed to have it if I was a good girl...Good girl, Hell, I will claim I am the Virgin Mary to get the darn chocolate...
Oh and for some odd reason they dont have the cute cabana boys to come and bring you margaritas and rub cocoa butter on your belly in the birth center...
So, Monday morning I go back in for another Biophysical and NST to see if the levels have gone down or maintained. IF they have gone down, they are going to keep and induce me without hesitation even tho, im a couple of days behind of being 37wks...although the "new drs" I had during my stay, ACTUALLY listened to me about when I thought I was due..."they were rolling when I flat out said that it was kind of hard to get pregnant when according to 'their' books etc. there was no way in hell i got pregnant at that time cuz for one you needed a penis full of sperm and at that time i was no where near one"....
Oh and the babys dad mom, aka baby gma, was with me and she was keeping me in good spirits as they admitted me etc...She kept me calm and yet it is still sad that I have more support from her than my own mom
