Nervous
I am a little nervous! Since my surgery (almost 7 months out) my periods have gone from being 60 plus days to 30-32 days. Well currently I am 3 days late (on day 35). I don't FEEL pregnant and don't really have any symptoms. I am not on birth control and hubby and I have done stuff unprotected like twice this month. I do not track ovulation but I don't think it was during my fertile time. I am nervous to take a test (plus we just got snow and are "stuck" inside since most places here are closed). I have a 2.5 year old and we are currently fostering (and soon adopting) a 4 month old. Ok I just had to vent I know they only way I will know for sure is to take a test but I just had to share!

I also have the Lap-Band and my periods magically regulated when I lost around 70 pounds. They used to be so random... there was no rhyme or reason to them. One time I only got three for the whole year.
My husband and I have always had unprotected sex (I am allergic to latex and don't believe in birth control) but we never got pregnant while I was obese. We were super careful and used the "withdrawal method." When we were ready to start trying, I had no idea when my fertile time was, so I used an ovulation prediction kit, and I got pregnant the first time we tried.
I didn't really have any pregnancy symptoms until I was about 7-8 weeks... and even then it was just that I was REALLY tired and meat suddenly grossed me out.
Keep us posted! Good luck.

Thanks ladies! Yeah my periods actually regulated like the month before I had surgery and is now pretty regular so that is why I am nervous. I never really felt pregnant when I was with my son, I peed a lot and after finding out I would have off and on nausea but that was it. I am tired but I think that partly from the holidays and dealing with a 2.5 year old and a 4 month old! he he I will keep everyone posted! I am debating on if I should say something to my husband or just buy a test and bring it up only if it is positive!
I actually got pregnant 2 weeks after my WLS.....scary huh? I'm now due in 2 weeks :) Everything has went fine, no complications at all, and I have continued to lose and for the past 8 weeks have maintained ( baby gaining weight not mom) so I'm sure I've really lost. If you are Congrats. You will be fine
