Epidural Nerves,
You will not want to hear my story..but when I was induced with my daughter, I had the 1st epidural and it didn't help..so they gave me a 2nd and then all I recall were people screaming code...then telling my husband he needed to leave and the last thing I recall was them saygint "something" to my husband adn I heard "wife or baby?" I guess my heart rate dropped and I coped and needed brought back with epinepherin and paddles..I ended up with a c-section which I am opting for this time around!!!

I was induced and had HORRIBLE back labor. I got my first epi (Yes, I got one for those of you that knew I didn't want one) and had a window in my back. They gave me a bolis (or however it's spelled) and upped the meds. That didn't work so they gave me a second one. That one took and I was able to get a nap. I didn't really feel anything other than pressure when Xavier was born but I did feel the doctor stitching me up and had to get numbed for that. I was in recovery in my delivery room for 2 hours and I stood to go from my bed to wheel chair, I know I was in my room for about 45 minutes when I had to go to the bathroom. It wasn't bad, just felt like my legs were asleep a little. I wasn't afraid of falling or anything,
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.
