don't have an answer for you, but wanted to say I am sorry for your loss.   Glad to hear other baby is healthy.

I personally have never been through this but I just wanted to give you some supportive information. My husband was a twin in 1985 and his mother miscarried his twin. He is fine. Just a 'happy' thought to help you hold on.

Hi, I haven't been on here in a long time and just stopped in...I have lost one twin in two pregnancies...one at 14.5 weeks and one at 8 weeks.  My first pregnancy I had a very small amount of spotting at 17 weeks... the sac mostly stayed in tact until I delivered.  I had to go for several ultrasounds to make sure I did not get an infection that would risk the other twin (My daughter who is now 8).  My last pregnancy at 8 weeks they thought I was losing the entire pregnancy because my levels plummetted and I was bleeding (not spotting).  I went for an ultrasound prior to the D&C and the tech said there is still a heartbeat.  I took progesterone and stopped bleeding about 3 days later...I had 2 more ultrasounds that week and they checked my levels every couple days and my little daughter just turned 2 and is a joy!  I pray all goes well with the rest of your pregnancy.  It is actually pretty common to have a "vanishing twin" in the first trimester, but I have to say I took it pretty hard this last time.  I am so blessed by my daughter, but the loss was very emotional for me.

Hopefully, you have called your Dr about the bleeding (even knowing your are m/c one of the babies if there is a lot of blood they may want to check you).  Otherwise wishing you a healthy and uneventful rest of your pregnancy.
