Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

CD 9 finishing up the clomid tonight, then we will see, could be a VERY BUSY xmas....LOL!!!  Here's hoping things work out this cycle.  Last cycle apparently I did not O, Dr gave me script for clomid and told me I would not get AF so I could start it immediately, well I went against him as I knew AF would come and low and behold 6 days later she showed.  Man if I had have listened I would have blown that money on the script.  Glad I waited!!!!  Hopefully the clomid does it's job this month and we catch that eggie.

Hello Ladies,

Woke up sick on Friday.. and home computer is still down! New cord should be there today!  yay!

AF FINALLY showed up on Sat, and with a vengence, I might add!  I start my birth control pills tomorrow..   My big ole box of meds arrived on Thursday and this cycle is a GO!!!!!

My Egg retrival should be between Jan 21st - 23rd..  and the egg transfer will be 5 days later!!!!
