Self weaning

The last couple of weeks Bella has started loosing interest in BF'ing. She was down to twice a day and the last couple of days she maybe eats once a day somedays twice. She will be one on wed so I know she doesn't need me anymore and that makes me really sad she eats everything she loves food!!! Just sad my baby isn't a baby anymore.

It's possible, but it's also likely that it's just a phase and she might be after you again in a week or two. Matty did that around the same age. Now at almost 16 months he is down to 2 times a day (morning and night), and sometimes he misses at night and it does not phase him. If you want to wean her by one then this would be a good time to do it, but if you are not ready to stop then I would keep asking her if she wants it and let her nurse whenever she asks.

My first was down to morning and evening feeding, then moved to just before bed to relax her. After I knew it, she didn't want it anymore. It happens...
as far as the baby not being a baby anymore, I still call mine my babies (5 and 2 years old). Just look at it that way, and she still needs you, just in different ways now.

At least you got that year, Rowan dumped me at about 9 months old!
