G-d has blessed me with wonderful children - the greatest gift any woman could ask for.  After my last pregnancy, I knew ther was NO WAY I could have another child at the weight I was.  It was such a difficult pregnancy because of the weight.  My biggest hope when I went into surgery was that it would enable me to have another child.  Now, after having lost most of my excess weight, I CANNOT SEEM TO GET PREGNANT FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR.  I am 2 1/2 years out.  Does anyone have any information that might help???
Thanks.

Sorry you're having a rough time TTC.  At this point after trying for a year after losing most of that excess weight, I suggest going to see your OB. Have them run tests to see if there are any problems on your side medically.  Maybe your partner may have issues at this point.  12 cycles of TTC and still no BFP... definitely go to the doctor.

Good luck to you.

We tried for 6 months, then decided to try Pre-seed. First try on that and we got pregnant. I was worried that I would not be able to get pregnant again. I do not know if you have looked into that at all. you pretty much have to chart and use it on your most fertile days. GL

Has your husband had a semen work-up done? (not sure of te official name for it). Anyway, it could be that his sperm count has decreased over the years, How old are your other children? Anyway, I have been making my husband take Ferilaid for men. It is basically a multivite with L-Carnitine in it. It is a herb that increases sperm count and motility. You can get it in the vitamin aisle at any pharmacy. You yourself can take Evening Primrose oil softgels, which is supposed to help increase quality cervical mucus. You take it from the first day of your period to the day before ovulation. If you had RNY, then double the dosage. These are just ideas to help your fertility along, there could very well be a problem but keep them in mind- they can't hurt.
