Another US today...
Hi Ladies!
Well... I'm going in for another US today at 3pm PT. If you recall from last week, I shared that my dr was concerned w/my HCG levels being lower than she'd like to see and not increasing as fast as she'd like. I had 3 blood tests last week, all 48 hrs apart. The #'s were: 177, 239, & 321. I had an US after the 239 count. They saw a gestational sac in my uterus but it was still too early to see anything else. My dr is still concerned about an "abnormal" pregnancy and wanted me to come in this afternoon for another US. She's concerned it could be an ectopic pg.
My DW and I have been trying to be as positive & upbeat as possible this whole week. We talk to our "Lil Peanut" all the time. I feel good - no symptoms of ectopic pg or MC at all. I even enjoyed a couple bouts of morning sickness over the weekend. It was kinda funny because I wasn't sure if it was pouch-puking or morning sickness. But with pouch-puking, I always feel really good afterwards. This time, i felt nausious for about an hour afterwards. Yay... we chalked that up to baby's doing.
I feel good and I'm nervous at the same time. We are really just waiting for our dr to catch up to us and tell us that everything is fine, baby is in the uterus, good heartbeat, and determine the due date.
I'll update when I can after my US. It'll be a little hectic cuz I'll hafta go pick up my DW, then get ready for my WLS support group that I run at my hospital. Thank you all for your support & prayers. We appreciate it!

UPDATE: GREEEEEEEEEEEEAT NEWS!!! US showed that the baby is definitely growing and in the uterus! And it's only measuring 4w6d instead of 6w2d like I thought. That explains the low hcg numbers. Dr is happy but since it's only 4w6d we're not seeing a heartbeat yet. So she's ordered weekly US's until we see my Lil Peanut's heartbeat. But she told me "you can officially consider yourself pregnant... no more alcohol, etc." tee hee! So glad she caught up with us!
We're soooooooooooo grateful for answered prayers. Now to figure out how to change my ticker to put the right date...
