It also made me go through and rethink what I have been through the past years...here is what i typed out...
I weighed OVER 350lbs...i didnt eat "crappy foods in big amounts". Years of all the yoyo dieting etc burned out my metabolism and i have that famous little "gene" that everyone like to debate about. Actually we all have it. When we do start to gain tons of weight, its something in our brains that say eat eat eat...no matter what and how much your still gonna gain. You can blame so much on thyroid, diabetes, and other health issues. Whats the first thing a dr says to you when you have a major life altering surgery? Eat right, exercise!! You have a new lease on life!...
I dont take for granted what I have been through that allowed me to lose the weight i have. I cried after it was done. the nurses looked at me and was like WTH!?!? gave me more pain meds, it wasnt because of the pain cuz i had a new lease on life. The Dr and his "original" team had to sit and explain to them that they were happy tears....it was the day of my Rebirth...not only do i celebrate my actual birthday i celebrate that day too. sorry for going on a tangent, again.....
YES i had weightloss surgery. I had RNY on October 23 2008. The ironic thing? i***** i was in a massive car accident where iw as the passenger. State patrol even said he couldnt figure out how we survived and how we only got the injuries that we did. That was October 24, 1994. See how Ironic it was? My surgery date shouldve been october 24, but they moved it up for me because exDH was leaving on deployment...I didnt realize this until a couple of months ago...Friend of mine and I were hashing out dates of when we lost our virginity, when she came out of the closet, when i got pregnant, she finally realized, etc....the "important" anniversary dates for our lives...oh like the day i finally got divorce papers served about kissed the deputy on the lips when he handed them to me etc....
