Thank Samara.  Like I told Holly -- IVF at the end of January (well, starts then...so more like Feb)...and hoping that does the trick.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! I actually did drag my butt out in the cold last night and got a 5 pack of the pregnancy strips. Did 2 so far and they are all negative. Oh well, keeping my fingers crossed for next month.
I think I am going on Amazon later to buy bulks of these. The OPK strips are much cheaper and you get 20 in a box. I thought I would be grossed out by having to pee in a cup, but it didn't bother me :)

Hey Chelle-

I'm a little late..as usual! lol

Look on the box of the Dollar Store brand. Different tests use different measurement levels of Hcg. I bought mine from the Dollar Tree and they test at 25, other tests use 50 and 75 as their baseline. As long as the test uses 25 then you should be good to go. From what I understand, there aren't anymore 12.5's. This is why you need to use concentrated urine to get an accurate reading early on. It seemed to take forever to get a positive with mine. You can't dilute a blood test so that's why its more accurate in the dr's office. There are more expensive brands on the market that use 75 as their baseline, so just read the labels.

GOOD LUCK!! BTW- you may want to consider a few months of Fertility Friend. It was a lifesaver for me!

Ebay -- get Wondfo's -- blue/white packages. 400 of them for less than $50.  And, they are the most sensitive thing out there right now.
