Dr called today...

Well I found out I was having twins at my ultrasound last week...my doctor calls me today says she has the results and wants to see me tomorrow!! I had originally had an appointment for jan 10th...it's been about a month since blood was drawn...should I be worried that this is something else? Or do you think that just because I am having twins...after WLS...that they are just concerned and want to take more tests etc...that is what i'm hoping for!!

Probably just precautionary. Your appt was for the 10th when she was under the impression you just had one in there, right? Try to relax a little :)

It could very well be just because you're having twins and have nothing to do with WLS at all.

You should expect to see your OB much more often than if you only had one baby in there. Also expect a lot more ultrasounds to check for even growth of both babies and to check your cervix, this is normal for twins.

I doubt it has anything to do with WLS and more do with being multiples.  I think multiples are automatically considered high risk and you'll have more frequent appointments but I could certainly be wrong about that.  I would look at it as a good thing!

Yup... I'm with the other ladies here.  It's probably because you have twins.  Double the fun and double the appts & tests. :-)

lol, thanks ladies. That is all about what I am thinking, being rational anyways. But there is a little worry there because you never know, first time mommy lol

have you had any bleeding? cramping? if not, dont fret!

your having twins, your in the "special" group now!! =)
just probably want to go over your options and what to expect, probably get you hooked up with a periontologist and expect lots of ultrasounds blood work etc..
