update and a question
Hello ladies! Hope the week has treated you well, and your weekends will be even better. I cannot believe I am in week 12 already. It feels like yesterday I was sobbing in my bathroom looking at my BFP thinking....Oh crap!!
Compared to my last pregnancy (300 pounds, high blood pressure CONSTANT UTI's and bleeding) this one has been much easier on me. My blood pressure is steady, and I have only had one issue with the Uti (chronic for me, no clue why :( ) I have been having fainting spells though, and its always right after I eat. I thought RH at first but I don't think RH is when it happens immediately after eating. My OB said it wasn't a baby issue, so I will mention it to my surgeon next Wednesday. Has anyone else experience this? I know dizziness is common in later pregnancy, but I out right passed out on my dining room floor last weekend, and if I can avoid that in future I would like to

I never had issues with my blood sugar dropping until I got pregnant, and it is only when I am pregnant. It sucks!! If I eat something with too much sugar and not enough protein then within 15 min I start getting sweaty, shakey, dizzy, and almost pass out. I normally make it to sit down before I do fall over, but it is so scary. One day it happened and I was in Joann's and OMG I seriously thought I was going to die, all from a 1/3rd of a cupcake! Try to keep some snacks with you, like peanuts or trail mix, so help you during times of need. I know when I had my glucose test (a fasting blood draw) my blood sugar was 60 and normal is 65-99.
ETA - Also, make sure you keep up on your iron levels. Mine dropped quite a bit with this pregnancy, not my first though (both post-wls). I have been taking iron for a few months and it is finally starting to go back up, but I was so exhausted it sucked. Thankfully, right now I am unemployed so I have been able to nap and what not.
