anyone try gender swaying post RNY?
I am almost a year out, met my goal weight several months ago and my husband and I are looking forward to planning our next baby(in several more months). I really would love to have a boy as I already have a daughter and I have been reading up on gender swaying based on diet/timing..I am just wondering if anyone post WLS has tried this and if it really changes our pH as much as it does other people...
Also- no one flame me- I'd love a baby no matter what gender it may be and I would be happy as long as it was healthy but it can't hurt to try to help a boy along..

yep, I joined the site and have been reading through everything. I was just curious how it worked with us because of the mal-absorptive puzzle piece..I would assume it would change things but is it healthy for post-ops? I guess I'll just have to collect the info and take it to my ob and surgeon and get their opinion but for some reason I feel like I'll be judged for trying to sway :/
Try using the "Chinese Gender Chart". It was correct for me and I know tons of people who use it for this very reason and none were wrong yet. Also note it can be wrong too, nothing is fool-proof. It is entertaining though. You never know, it might be right for you too. It will tell you if you conceive in certain months what the sex would be. Good luck!

Yes, I have tried and am trying again. To encourage a boy, your vaginal PH should be more alkaline, a girl, mor acidic. You can research which fruits and veggies creat a more alkaline environment. Also, it is said to have sex on your ovulation date, because the male sperm are faster.
Since I am trying for a girl, i am taking cranberry supplements and drinking grapefruit juice starting the last day of my period.
