I successfully breastfed Libby for 6 months, and then only stopped because of our wedding and honeymoon and what not.  Well, in that 6 months the cost of disposible breast pads adds up fast!  So, I was thinking about trying the Lily Padz, but before I spend the $20 I was wondering if any of you have tried them?  What were your thoughts?

Thanks :)

I always wondered about those myself. I read that there don't breathe well so never tried them. I loved my lanisoh brand(don't know spelling) ones.

I don't know about that....but is that a Chicco Polly highchair in your picture? If so, do you like it? Does that middle bar come off the tray if you unscrew it?
If not...pardon my ramblings, lol. Good luck with your pad situation :)

I tried Lily Padz, but because I was a leaker and I couldn't bear wearing a bra to bed every night.  I think they wouldn't have been particularly comfy under a bra.  It's true they don't breathe well, but they didn't give me any problems like thrush or anything.  I don't really think they're worth the price, though, for everyday wear.  They wore out pretty quickly and lost their stickiness.

I used washable hemp pads with my daughter a few years ago and I'll use them again.  I bought them from a WAHM on eBay. They are soft, don't show badly under a bra (especially one with a little padding) and very absorbent.  I only used the disposable ones for trips or if I was going to be out a long time.  I found them irritating.  I also cut pantyliners in half in a pinch and used those - they are cheaper than any breast pads and they don't show any more than a breast pad does.

The plus point of Lily Padz is that if you are a habitual leaker, they can help stop that problem for you, provided you put them on just right.  They did seem to help slow my leaking issues, without hurting supply or anything.
