Sugar Test today..Was nasty!

 I had that one hr glucose test today and it was SOO NASTY! I HAD THE SHAKES FOR 2 HRS AFTER THAT..YUCKY. My Ob appt went good today for the most part. I had a tad protein in my urine which is not bad. But to me its like a sign that could just get worse towards the end. I have gained 13lbs so far which is not to bad and I am having another Ultrasound On Tuesday at 3pm to measure baby girl and see how much she weighs!!! YAY!!! I am so excited i get to see my baby girl on screen again!! I am hoping to get a 3d pic of her at this ultrasound since I will be 28 wks and that is 7 months so that should be a good 3d pic. I am soo thrilled!!!! 

WOW. I can't believe they made you take a glucose! I just had a fasting and then a finger ***** My ob knew that I couldn't tolerate sugar b/c I would dump. That bites.

I dont do that glucose test with the drink either. never liked it. I do fasting blood sugars every once in awhile and thats it. Hope all goes well with ultrasound!!

Yeah... the glucose testing can really knock out a RNY'er.  Not looking forward to that if it comes.

I went for the Glucose test on Thursday, I couldn't do the nasty drink. I am going back to do the Jelly Bean Glucose Test,  you have to eat 18 Large Jelly Beans in 2-5 minutes and then have the blood drawn in one hour.  I think I can handle this, and I get to supply my own Jelly Beans ( the doc recommended the Brach Jelly Beans).

I have 87 days to go, I am so tired of being pregnant. My butt cheeks hurt, he is sitting on a nerve. I cant wait for Mason to get here. My C-Section is scheduled for 3/1/2010. I hope and pray he decides to make an appearance around mid February!!!!

I had mine today, they had me drink 13+oz apple juice instead of that glucola stuff. i felt pretty nauseous drinking it. But i survived. Didn't feel good the rest of the afternoon tho... Took a 2 hour nap after dinner
