HI!! THATS GREAT about school! YES educatin first!! im a mom sorry force of habit...=)
As to your question,. I do not get the pleasure of being poked with a needle for having RH-. My friend does, she just had to have hers the other day. As for side effects, soreness at injection site and she bruised...thats just her tho. She dont know how big the needle is cuz she dont do needles like me....=)

I did however find this information for you hope it helps!!

here is the link too!!

I too am RH negative and this is my second pregnancy.....with my first DD I had to have the Rhogam earlier than normal because I had some bleeding...so I got it twice before I delivered and once after I delivered....who knows with this pregnancy when/how they do that.....but, I don't remember it being anymore than just like any other shot.....

Good luck....and I don't blame you switching doctors for the 2 hour drive....I would do the same....

I am RH-. I had to have the shot about 5 times during my pregnancy due to bleeding. I had no side effects other than having a shot :)
