Gallstones
The only thing I know is that the drs told me to avoid spicy and greasy food...that that could cut down on the trigger of it happening. A friend of mine years ago swore by apple cider vinegar (she refused to have surgery for it...she'd had a very bad surgery experience years before where she was 'awake' but the drs didn't know it and she had a surgery where she could hear/feel everything but not move) - anyways - she said the vinegar (in a little water every morning) along w/diet changes helped cut downthe # of attacks she was having. Ask your dr though...see if he has any suggestions. They obviously want to avoid surgery if at all possible until after the baby got here.

My gallbladder was out prior to this pregnancy so I have had no experience with this myself. But, my best friend did! She had gallstones and they were going to wait until she delivered and take it out then, but she started getting sicker because the gallbladder was so full of stones that it had gotten infected. She HAD to have hers out.....OB said no option, bec ause her health was at risk. She had it out at 22 weeks; did fine no complications. Bless her heart, at 32 weeks, she had to have an emergency appendectomy!! Despite being exposed to general anesthesia twice, her baby was absolutely fine - born at 39 wks. Hope this helps some. Good luck!!
