Measuring ahead of schedule?
Baby measured 32 weeks at the 28 week Ultrasound. That is when they pushed the second Glucose test on me telling me that the only explanation is that I must have GD. The test came back normal. So I am stumped. I think I am just going to have a big baby! I freaked out when they told me that he was estimated at 3 1/2 lbs already and then I got the notification on my iPhone that said the baby's weight will triple by birth! I am all freaked out because that means like 12 lbs.
This is not my first baby, and they were pretty accurate with both estimated dates. They said my son was going to be 10 lbs, well he was born 2 weeks early and weighted 8lb 11oz! So I am scared

Matthew measured ahead on and off throughout my whole pregnancy. They said he would probably weigh 9lbs+ if I went to 40 weeks. He was born at 38 weeks 6lbs 10 oz. You could be measuring ahead because of extra aminotic fluid or something like that. I wouldn't really worry too much about it at this point.
I was always ahead also. No early baby and she weighed 6 10. No big baby. Could be extra fluid and all. As long as they tell me baby looks healthy...I am very happy and ignore the rest lol. I mean about big baby and all. When I was in labor they told me she would weigh between 8 1/2 and 9 1/2 pounds. LOL

Happens a lot, and doesn't correlate with early delivery. I measured ahead the whole time, but delivered only 4 days before the my official due date and had a pretty normal sized baby!
Banded 03/22/06 276/261/184 (highest/surgery/lowest)
Sleeved 07/11/2013 228/165 (surgery/current) (111lbs lost)
Mom to two of the cutest boys on earth.
Don't worry too much. All of it is an estimate. They can be off in either direction. I was ahead on everything since 12 weeks. He was off the charts on all measurements. Well, I was induced and had him at 37 weeks and 2 days (he was estimated to weigh 8 pounds 9 oz the day of induction.). He was 6 pounds 11 oz and 20 inches long.
Ive heard of many women measure ahead of schedule especially with prego with baby girls ; ) My sister ended up measureing always a month in advance with her belly for her girls. But when she was preggers with My nephew she didnt. And she had big baby's they were all 8lbs. and something. So it all depends I think. I def would not worry about it ; )
