Discharge?

I'm 10 wks preggo and for the past 2 days I've had some brown discharge but it's only when I wipe after using the restroom and it's not much, but is this normal?

Sounda like old blood, which is better than bright red! Have you had an internal exam in the last week or so or had sex? That can cause that. My cervix was super irritated my whole second pregnancy and I had brown disharge a lot. If it gets to be really bead, you'll want to make a call. Around that same point in my first pregnancy I had a subchorionic bleed, which was really scary but my daughter was fine, just born small but full term. It started like that too, but soon the bleeding turned to red. If it becomes red or you start to feel any discomfort, call right away! But, brown could just be normal like I said. Good luck!

I had sex for the first time since I got preggo a few days ago.  There has been no red or pink discharge at all, no cramping,it's just light brown and barely there, but I haven't been preggo in 9 yrs, so can't remember if this is normal or not. 

I had some light spotting in my first trimester and the OB said it was normal and to worry if it was new blood or a lot of discharge with cramps. When we had sex it would show a day or two later so don't rule that out. If you are worried, ask to be checked!

sounds like that when you had sex, you irritated the cervix. Which will cause some spotting. Remember your cervix is engorged with blood so any irritation can trip spotting.

I have had bleeding off and on my whole pregnancy.  Seems like I start about ever 1.5-2 weeks.  Mine ranges from dark brown to bright red.  The docs think it's a pocket of fluid around my IUD.  They can't take it out b/c they don't see strings and they don't want to disrupt anything.  Baby is ok and no cramping.  When it happens no sex though.  So poor DH:(  Bleeding usually lasts 3-5 days off and on.  Hopefully it'll stop though.  It always makes me so nervous when it happens.

I spotted brown on and off for a few weeks in my first pregnancy and it ended around 10 weeks.  My OB said it was nothing to worry about and it wasn't!  It is scary to see, but brown blood is rarely a problem.

call your dr. could be... or could not be.. they are the only ones that can tell you
