New
Hey figured I would come say Hi . . I am about 15 months post op RNY and 6 weeks preg!
So far I have had no problems and I am plumping up good. I hadn't updated on the oh boards in awhile but I was down to 140lbs when I got preg and I already got a belly starting. Although symptoms I really have are sore boobs and wanting to eat constantly so that makes me worry about weight gain.
I had a lot of trouble over the last year even had trouble with anorexia after surgery but at my 1 year post op visit all my levels were back to normal or above normal, so they are going to see me at 8 weeks instead of 10 just to make sure things are going ok and my levels are ok.
We are very excited this will be my second child and my husbands first!

Welcome and Congrats on your weight loss as well as your BFP! Hang in there and I'm sure what you're experiencing is normal- I still want to eat everything and anything...I'm 25 weeks and I've gained 16-18lbs! It seems like a lot and it scares me to say, but weight gain is an unfortunate side effect to pregnancy. Just know you're not alone and that the women on here are so wonderful and supportive and never be afraid to ask questions!! :)
Best f luck for a happy and healthy pregnancy!!

Jeez..you are just like me. I had my RNY 2 years nov 5th..I ended up losing about 160lbs and they dx me with anorexia also. I kept saying.."I'm still 160lbs..how in the world could I be anorexic??" and they alswys replies that anorexia is a behavior in which someone does not eat..NOT the way someone looks....So I ended up getting pregnant in July which was 20 months out - went thru fertility to have my dtr 6 years ago..NEVER planned ont this. They are still concerned with my eating..I still ahve a hard time putting anything in my mouth and last friday when I went to the OB I was only up about 5 lbs...I am close to 22 weeks and they said that I should be at 10-15 lbs up. If I didn;t have the issue with eating, they wouldn;t be so concerned.....I take a combat fitness class 2x a week..anyways..congrats and good luck and feel free to chat anytime! Congrats! I am 14 months post op and just had my second baby on Monday, November 22. I only gained 7 lbs total with him. He was about 2 weeks early but is on the small side and is measuring smaller. I was constantly hungry but had a lot of morning sickness at first. As long as you are making healthy choices you don't need to worry too much. I was really scared when I saw the scale get to 150 pounds during one of my last visits. But when I got home from the hospital on Wednesday I was already back down to 140 pounds from 154 on Monday right before I delivered. You will be ok. Just follow the doctor's orders and take care of yourself. The little one will take EVERYTHING from you and as long as baby is growing there is no need for you to worry about weight gain. Good luck with everything! I know how scary it is to see the scale go up again once you have been watching it fall and the fear you will gain it all back again doesn't go away or get better. Wish I could tell you it does.
Thank you all for your replies! Yeah I figure it is a normal thing after we all see the scale go down . . and there is no telling what will happen til it happens.
It is good to see I am not the only one that struggled with anorexia and now pregnant, I would probably say losing weight while pregnant would be more of a concern than the gain since even after I stopped having problems with the anorexia I still was losing big.
