Almost Fainted.5.5 weeks preggers
Hi all. I just need some advice perhaps...I just had a hot bath, thought I would be ok, but when i stood up i had to open the window right away and my eyes were blurry and i couldnt stand up i went down to my knees. I found the strength to get up and get the bathroom door open. I don't want to do that again, I am having every pregnancy symptom there is as far as I can see. Getting pretty rough already. How did you guys cope with all of this? If I had had a shower instead would it have done the same? I'm kind of scared now...
I get dizzy all the time. Cant stand up too quick have to eat every hour had to add chocolate or something with sugar every few hours also. I have low blood pressure and low blood sugar issues but anytime a hot shower is involved (I cant do baths ) I have to cool the water before I get out but the whole shower I sit on the side of the bathtub so I dont pass out.

Hi there!
I have had the same issue with the first 8 weeks of both pregnancies. I read that it has to do with the increase in the crazy amount of blood your body is producing. I keep light OJ in the bathroom as well and have been taking cooler showers. I firmly believe that your body goes into "protect" mode at this time, and yours may just be telling you to cool it down a bit. Feel better!

I was told a warm bath is fine but if you start to feel flushed or like your BP is rising or HB quickens then cool down the temp of the water. I try to drink a glass of water before taking a bath and it helps. Even leaving the bathroom door open to ventilate better helps keep the room cool. Hope this helps, baths with moisture salts are saving my dry skin now so I cannot imgine not having them!
