Just a little background info:  I was at 6cc in May, but had really been too tight for a year and had lost only 14 lbs that yr, could hardly get anything down but ice cream and soups.  In May went in and had 1 cc removed, so down to 5 cc in my band.  I've had good restriction and on occasion would have tight days particularly the few days before my period and during my period.  Since getting pregnant (I'm 12 wks), I have had no trouble eating, as long as I stay away from breads.....until Thursday of last wk...........now suddenly it feels like it did when I was nearing my period.  SUPER TIGHT.  Did any of you have this trouble?  I was sure hoping to make it through the pregnancy without an unfill.

I was pretty consistent through my pregnancy, but I know that the water retention caused by pregnancy can make a real difference. have you noticed yourself retaining more fluid lately?

I had 8cc's in my 10cc band when I got pregnant. I never had a problem eating normally, but I started getting really bad shoulder pain once the baby started to grow and put pressure on my insides. I had 4cc's removed, and everything is great. Granted, I can eat and drink a helluva lot more than I did before, and I gained 31 pounds over 6 weeks since my unfill, but my weight gain has tapered off and I'm gaining about a pound a week now. I have not noticed any difference in restriction from one day to the next, but it could be because I had that unfill.
