what to drink to ease a cold

I am coming down with my first cold since having RNY surgery and being 12 weeks pregnant.  I am looking for suggestions on warmer things to drink that will help me get in the fluids that both baby & I need on a daily basis. 

I had a cold and then I started with severe allergies (which I had with my 2nd son and they started the day after he was concieved until the day I gave birth) and the only thing I found to help, and that I could take, was tylenol cold and sinus. It is not recalled, but you can find the generic tylenol cold and sinus at Walmart or Walgreens. Sudafed is awesome too. I was approved to take guafenison (spelling) to help with the post nasal drip as well. I don't know what your symptoms are. I had a head cold, and now allergies. Fluids.... I lived on Healthy choice chicken noodle soup & hot tea (approved). When I needed a cold drink I drank chyrstal light or Lipton green tea and citrus.
