Baby is breech again
My friend has had 5 babys (surrogate Mom) now and all but one were in the transverse position which is far more difficult to turn to head down then just breech and all of her babys turned at 37 weeks into position. I was asking her because she's a Nurse Practioner and the fact that she's done this 5 times now. My baby girl is also in the transverse position and has been for the last 6 weeks. I was also getting nervous because my OB told me that babys usually have a much more difficult time turning when in this position than just the normal breech position. Hope that helps ease your mind some. All wil be good, he'll turn! OB can also give you some excercises to try.
Amy,
Aiden flipped every two days all the way up to delivery. I was scheduled to be induced either way at 37 weeks due to complications (the high risk doctor just wanted me to get to 37 weeks). The week before I delivered he was breech on Monday, Wednesday he was headdown, and Friday he was breech. They said they would do the last ultrasound on Monday (I was being induced on Tuesday). He was breech at 9am (at my OB office) and was headdown at 1pm at my high risk visit. So, they did one last check Monday night before putting in the cervidel and then on Tuesdsay morning before starting pitocin they did the last check and he was still head down.
So, you have time!
