Yeah Get it checked out, back pains if just a pain should at least be bearable after Tylenol.

I did, UTI and stretching of the uterus..bad combo! Got some antibiotics and taking a little more tylenol so that seems to be helping!

I had the same exact thing! I am just 11 weeks and my doc said sometimes while the uterus is trying to move up into place it will put pressure on sensitive spots. I feel you I am in a lot of pain at times.

That's what the doc said! Man, I can't imagine how bad it will get as the baby grows! Yikes!

Like what the first poster said, could be a UTI. You can get them quite frequently while your pregnant. I had one and didnt even know, they did cultures and the Dr was totally dumbfounded because I wasnt or didnt feel the pain.
As for relief, heat packs, and have someone rub your back etc...pressure from the shower too will help. Plus dont forget organs move up and get squished as you get further along too. If this is your first pregnancy, things are gonna hurt a little more than consecutive.
I would just call your Dr office and see if they can do a quick test to see if it is a UTI. If you do it is simple fix, antibiotics and pain medication. If they give like Loritab or anything like that it is safe to take. Really. Otherwise they wouldnt prescribe it.

Yes it was a UTI and pain in back is due to stretching of the uterus. SO hopefully both things will be resolved soon, though I hear the back pain is just going to get worse :( Oh well! Back rubs do really help though!

Thanks for your reply!

Another thing to keep in mind is that not only to your organs shift around to accommodate the baby, but your bones do as well.  You might want to go to a chiropractor to get adjusted.  Most chiro's today have special tables to accommodate the growing baby.
