That is horrible. I can't believe this. Screw Dunkin Donuts.I'd totally boycott DD for treating those women like that, but I don't think there's a DD anywhere near me... besides, I'm a Krispy Kreme girl when I need my sugary donut fix.

Idiots. Honestly, I'm more offended by seeing the hoochie mamas walk in with their ass cheeks hanging out the bottom of their daisy-dukes or mini skirts, or their low rise pants with their thong hanging out the top (as well as the top of their ass cheeks)...and their boobs all hanging out on display. I don't like my son seeing the women dressed that way because I don't want him thinking that women are 'just a body.'
Most of the women I've ever seen breastfeeding in public tend to show as little breast as possible...but people are offended just from the knowledge that that's what they're doing. One of my friends from years ago - when she was breastfeeding her baby, standing in the bathroom in the shopping mall - was confronted by a woman - in the bathroom in the shopping mall - asking her 'Do you have to do that HERE?! That's DISGUSTING.' Mind you - this was at Christmas time when the mall was busy (her daughter was born in early November), and the bathroom was busy - she went out of her way - where it was not comfortable for her to stand there and hold her baby and try to feed her - not taking up a stall for 20-30 minutes to feed her baby in the bathroom - and this woman still wasn't satisfied with what she'd tried to do to make the rest of the world happy? It's good I wasn't with her that day (we spent a lot of time hanging out when her daughter was born...she was a single mom). I'm not known for keeping my mouth shut when someone ****** me off.

Horrible. I can't believe this happened. My daughter, who is almost 12, was exclusivly breastfed and she didn't wean herself until she was 2 1/2 and I still BF her in public. This baby will be the same way. Some of the comments on DD facebook were terrible too. Telling women they should go to the bathroom to feed their children. Would they want to eat in the bathroom? Telling women they should use a bottle. I told one lady that if I have to BF my child in the bathroom because it offends her, than she should bottle feed her's there too since it offends me.
I'm an extremely modest person, but seeing someone breastfeeding in public doesn't offend me. All the women I have ever seen have always tried to cover up or be discreet about it... I've never seen someone just whip out their boob for all to see.
There's actually a website (La Leche League, maybe?) that breaks down breastfeeding and decency laws state by state.

There is no article on this. This was posted on another website for women. Cafemom, the person that this happened too. This is their one day aweek so to speak to get out and start off the week.
As for the BF vs. FF, I dont care what you do as long as your kid is taken care of. Yes, I agree that women need to be discreet etc. Yes, some people do take BF to an extreme. I am the type of person that would say, "We are all moms in this together so lets just be there for each other and NOT PASS JUDGMENT on each other for the way we raise our kids".
They are calling for a nurse in on this Dunkin Donuts and for those that are there in NJ, i will let you know if they do this. I know a couple of bigger supporters have already contacted the local newsstations etc...
I usually dont get uptight about this, but when it is a state law stating that any women can breastfeed in ANY PLACE and its HER RIGHT and the store goes against state law, yeah there is an issue
