Bello everyone I havent Been here in a looooong time i had my rny in feb 2009 i strugle with infertility for almost 16 yrs last hear i got pregs but had a mc. Now Im 19wks with a boy after losing a total of 130lbs. But my question is.: my Belly has a B shape i had already lost all my "upper" abs and my lower was just hanging skin now my upper part is big again and so is my lower but theres a line rigth at my Belly button that devides. With maternity cloth looks pregs belly but with reg cloth i just look fat again. Does anyone else have this problem?

Personally I think about 80% of the ladies here do unless you have had some kind of plastic surgery on your stomach area. I also lost alittle over 130 pounds so far and my belly is the exact description you are giving. I'll probably be wearing my maternity jeans for at least a couple of months until my upper stomach goes back down because I have some insecurity feelings. If I wasn't too chicken about having atummy tuck I would consider one later down the road, but I beleive after our pregnancies our tummys will go back to what they were pre pregnancy and post surgery. So I'm pretty satisfied with that! I'm trying to think how I will hide my "B" shape for maternity pictures so that it looks more "D" shaped still. Having my pictures done here next month. Do any of you ladies have any suggestions on poses for "B" shaped preg. bellys?

I don't always have the best of luck with maternity clothes helping round me out..however, those belly bands (even the Target $16 ones) have helped smooth things out  :-)
Just my recommendation

I had a B belly all the way up until I delivered.  You couldn`t tell under maternity clothes.. but without, it was definitely a B shape.

I am worried about this also.  I have a huge amount of skin on my lower abdomen and quite a bit of excess skin above my belly button.  I have a feeling that I am going to look quite funny as I get bigger but it is something that I am willing to deal with as long as I have a healthy baby.

If you put your hands in just the right spot around your belly, it looks great for side shot pictures! I did that with a bare belly and you couldn't tell there was an indention in my stomach. It looked like a nice round D shaped belly.

Thank u for all ur replies, now i know Im not the only one and i dont feel so weird. Also to make it "D" shape i wear leggins up to my bra line and it makes it look smoother.

My belly changes shape from day to day. Most days, I have a nice round belly, but then the baby changes position, and my belly shape flattens out. I'm 7 months along, but I didn't even start showing until a little after 6 months.

Yes I understand what you mean! I have that B shape belly too. Now that I am 6 months and 2 weeks along my belly is starting to pop out even more and its all on top!! I look like I have a prego belly on top of my belly button LOL..and an indent. I have a hard time finding clothes that look like a perfect D shape. I bought a belt still does not work. Basically looks like I am carrying baby very high. OH well..as long as the baby is healthy and my professional pics come out good when I get them done Ill be ok. I am not sure they will get me bare belly tho. Which has me upset cause I will not have a bare belly pic done unless it rounds out more by the time im 8months along for my pics.

wow - the same has happened to me (only 7 weeks) but I have't gained any weight yet but my stomach is already doing the B shape. my upper stomach has done just the same, gone all floppy. It all pales ito comparison when i know there's a baby in there.
we need some post partum moms to tell us what happens to the belly after the baby pops out. I for sure am gettig plastics,
