14.5--15 weeks too early to feel movement?
Okay so I'm 2 days short of being 15 weeks (according to measurements on ultra-sound) and for the past few evenings I have been feeling "flutters" extremely low down in my abdomen (a little above my pubic bone). It comes and goes but it is something I've never felt before...I mean I've had the "butterflies" in the stomach but this is lower and feels different.....
So is it too early to feel the baby moving? Is it possible what I'm feeling is in fact my baby? (I know it's not gas hahaha).....Since this is my first baby I'm completely clueless as to how it feels!

I think you're feeling the baby. I felt little flutters at night when I'd lay down with both of my pregnancies. The first one was around 15-16 weeks and the second around 13-14 weeks. The bigger movements started around 18-19 weeks.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/applause.gif)

You know I Looked it up online...that you could feel first baby movements at 13 weeks pregnant!!! And I did at 14 weeks and of course my Ob told it was prolly gas cause they say first time mothers being pregnant would not normally feel it that early..but with the second baby they would cause they know what the feeling is then. Well I did that early..so yes that is def the baby ; ) I just did not listen to my Ob when she said it was gas.
Reason why is after you have RNY gas is def different and you can tell when you have gas and know what gas feels like and you hear gas more. I have not ever heard gas before until after I had my RNY. Strange but I think its weird when you can hear the gas moving around in your stomach area and that.

So true...I know I can def HEAR and FEEL my gas bubbles moving around and they are soooo never down that low for me. I'm so glad that I can rest assured knowing it was more than likely my baby! I have a doc appointment today so I get to hear that heartbeat again...I soooooo wish she'd give me an ultra-sound but I doubt she will until I'm around 20 weeks...![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/daydreaming.gif)
Anyway thanks for all the responses!

Hi!
We're at about the same point in our pregnancies, and I felt mine move last Wed for the first time, and have felt "her" a couple of times since. What's really cool is with my first 2 pregnancies I was really heavy so I never could tell I was pg for many months. Well I already have a noticeable baby bump! Love it!!

I delivered 6 weeks early a 5lb 15oz lil boy:) After spending 2 months on bed rest in the hospital and Mason spending 11 days in the NICU, we're both home and doing great! Mason is getting bigger and gaining weight like he should. Now it's my turn to lose this weight! It's tough to get back on the band wagon...I CAN do this!
