22 weeks and still losing weight

I havent been on here in a long time.

First off im Amber. I had my RNY over 2 years ago. Ive lost about 148 lbs total. We tried to conceive for 14 months and I had 5 losses. We finally have a sticky baby thanks to Heparin and progesterone! 

So far ive lost 20 lbs since pregnancy, and im still losing. My perinatalogist and OB havent mentioned anything about it. Im sure if I was gaining weight they would be letting me know though. Baby is growing fine and the weight loss isnt effecting her at all.

Since I havent spoken to anyone else who has been pregnant after WLS, I fiqure this is the best place to ask. Im just wondering how it has been for anyone else, and if you ever start gaining at all towards the end. With my son (pre-wls) I gained 20 lbs, but I weight 100lbs more than I do now.

I was told as long as the baby was gaining and growing healthy then I shouldn't worry. I lost weight as well in the beginning and started gaining it back at about 25 weeks. I have now gained 7 lbs from when I first found out I was pregnant and my OB is completely happy. as long as little one is healthy and your OB doesn't seem concerned then I wouldn't worry! I am having my little boy tomorrow, and I am still down 10 pound from the start of pregnancy. I think it just all depends on the person. I had my daughter 4 years ago pre WLS, and I didn't gain weight with her either, and I was 150 pounds heavier then. Good Luck in the rest of your pregnancy!
