Lost 9lbs already
Weight loss in the first trimester is totally normal, even for people with normal non-obese BMI's.
At your weight, you may even continue to loose throughout your pregnancy without an issue. As long as you're eating healthy and taking your vitamins, don't worry about your weight, your body will give everything it needs to the baby.

You are still in your "weight loss window" with your RNY, probably have a distal bypass because of the amount of weight you needed to lose??? And it is normal for even people who've not had WLS to lose weight during the first couple of months during a pregnancy.
Your baby will do just fine. Just eat your protein, complex carbs, fruits, & veggies, and take your supplements and you will do well.
Many Blessings,
Leila

Hey, congrats on the baby! Don't worry about the weight loss. I lost 30 lbs in my first trimester and gained in my 2nd trimester. I am still under my pre pregnancy weight and still in the 100 club. In my 3rd trimester I have lost 2 lbs, gained that back and now holding steady.
And with all this I got preggers 5 months after my surgery...so anyways, you will be alright!

My OB told me that when you're obese, the baby can actually live off your fat stores. So don't worry if you lose a few pounds in the beginning. I was TOTALLY excited because I lost 8 pounds during my first trimester... but once I hit 24 weeks, it started piling on with a vengence. I am now +28.
