We have a name...

After a long weekend of throwing around this name and that name and on and on, we are pretty sure we have chosen the baby's name. The girls were begging us not to wait til the baby's birthday, so we sat down as a family and went through millions upon millions of names and this was the one that stuck. My husbands names is James Larry, baby is getting his middle name from daddy (and pa pa whose name is the same also). I really wwanted an L name for him being that my husband was known as Larry to his family and we still have his baby ring that we can now pass down to his son. It was a tough decision, but it appears that the silent partner's name is to be.....

We will call him LJ for short (my brother is a CJ- grew up calling him that and loved it so wanted something we could simplify, but that the name couldn't really be shortened!)

So, what do you ladies think???

That's a GREAT name..we're planning on naming our baby Landon David if it's a boy ;-)  Great choice...I think boy names are the hardest!

OMG boys names are beyond hard!! Girls- easyyyyy for me! Boys- ya???? LOL

Very nice! I love names that are different enough that not everyone has them, but that aren't so crazy that no one would know how to say it. I think this fits the bill perfectly. Isn't it sooooooo nice to have the naming done?

That was kind of where I stood too- a name that wasn't way up there on the popular names list, but not something that was so difficult or off the wall to give the kid some sort of complex before he even took his first breath LOL I really wanted to wait til baby was born, but I've come to find out that through this whole pregnancy- I'm super duper IMPATIENT!!! hahaha

Thanks Gina!! I think it's growing on me! The girls were just so excited and I mentioned the name and the next thing I knew they were bringing me the cutest little bead bracelet they made for him with the initials "LJB" on it and almost immediately after that I knew that was to be his name!  :)
