FRIDAY TTC POST (who is making a baby?)
Hey there girls. Not to many posts last week?? Hope everyone is okay. Let me know if you have changes for the list or want added. Here are personals for the gals that posted last week. Have a great weekend! Shari
Kim~ Congratulations on your BFP!!! H+H 9 months to you!
Courtney~ Hey, here is hoping you caught that eggie this week and the 2ww isn't too bad.
DeWitt~ Welcome to our little group. I hope your stay is short and sweet and that you graduate to the baking mama's post with 'beginners luck' right away.
Keep us posted on your journey! For advice... I say don't stress too much just yet. Have fun. If you want to pinpoint ovulation you could try the ovulation prediction test strips, cheap on ebay. If I were you I wouldn't tell hubby about them, it will just freak him out....lol Best to test in the evening about 6pm and don't drink a lot for a couple of hours. GL
Elani~ Hey, I just got a chance to read your post. Very good news about the RE...he is jumping right in there. Sometimes the things he is doing will take a few cycles. You also don't have to have all of the symptoms of pcos to have pcos. And just a word of caution. It may not be exactly cd 14 and cd21 for your stuff. He should do scans to check how ready your follicles are. May be earlier, may be later...just be prepared for that. Something you might want to mention to him is to get on Metformin. It was my miracle pcos drug. I did several IUI and clomid cycles, but was clomid resistant. The metformin regulated my cycles and I got pg on a cycle break break from treatments. You can take it daily in conjunction with the clomid. Please keep me posted. And good luck, I am happy you got the ball rolling.

Well it's been a trying week....I haven't o'd according to the Opk or my charts....dr sent me for a slew of blood tests today...to think they thought my ovulation issues were tied to my wt....hahaha,....I go and lose 150 lbs and I still have issues...
I've almost given up on the Opk but I have a few left...so I just did one and it appeArs to be the darkest yet...so maybe I'm going to o on day 20...it's pretty frustrating what we have to go thru just to identify that we are o'ing!
Baby dust and bfp's to all you fellow ttc'rs

Hi Shari,
First attempt back trying was a bust. I "O" ed the earliest ever this past cycle, wasn't prepared exacty, but I "O"ed cd14 and right on time I started spotting 14 days after that. 28 day cycle....the first. So counting from first day of flow I am now cd3. Seen the dr today and got my refill for clomid, so counting down the days....LOL
Good Luck to those ttc and congrats to those baking and welcome to those precious bundles that have arrived.

Hi Shari!
Well, we got a summary of insurance coverage from our RE. They offer a service where they call your insurance company and ask questions regarding what they do and don't cover. Unfortunately, my insurance (Aetna) does not cover IUI, any ultrasounds FSH shots or Ovidrel shots. So basically, for the first month or two, we are going to just take the Clomid days 3-7, and then I will go get an HSG (which is thankfully covered by insurance) right after I'm done the Clomid, to see if my tubes are clear. Then I am going to start using the Clearblue Easy Digital OPK. I am really not trying to get my hopes up this time. I have heard that some people can get pg just from using Clomid, and others need the Clomid with an IUI, and some need the Clomid, IUI and trigger shot of Ovidrel, so anything can happen. My DH just went yesterday to do his second SA at the RE's office. We are very hopeful this test will turn out better than his first result. I just got done my 7 days of Prometrium to bring on my period, and I should have it within the next 3 days or so, so as soon as I get it, things will really get going and I'll have some things to schedule with the RE.
Please send some baby dust my way! 6 months and counting now, it's getting very difficult to stay positive, and all of the girls here really help me try.
Thanks so much for thinking of me.
