I got pregnant at 9 months post op but lost the baby then took a break from TT****il this August(18 months post op) and got pregnant in October....I truly think it's best to wait until the doctors give the go ahead.

I was 7 months out but had my surgeons approval to start TTC because I was 3 lbs from goal weight.  Never thought I would get pregnant right away after going off two forms of protection.

Nothing dramatic. 6 years post op RNY. 2 years post op fleur-di-lis Tummy tuck and breast lift.

Unplanned and super happy. Was between IUD's and on the pill. I already have a 6 1/2 and 8 year old.

I've been here since 2002, I just like to pretend I am NEW!

I got pregnant 2 years exactly out. My surgeon wanted me at goal weight (I actually passed it) and stable at that weight 6 months before trying.

Hello!  I was one month post op Open RNY when we got pregnant with our first child.  That was in 2005 and he is now a healthy 5 year old boy!

I am now almost 6 years post op and pregnant!

One month was very scary, I was just getting on solid foods well when we found out (we were about 8 weeks pregnant when we found out!).  But we did well, I stayed in touch with my surgeon and my OB as I was high risk from being a type I insulin dependent diabetic.

Our pregnancy then was great and I had little complications that I can recall.  But I do recommend waiting, he was a surprise and a very welcomed one as we had tried for 9 years and we had one miscarriage during that 9 year period.

i was 9 months post op.  I had gotten permission from my family dr, ob, and surgeon.  My husband has a low count due to past testicular cancer, and I was diagnosed with PCOS several years ago.  We were actually going to fertility clinics, getting our work ups done, and we were supposed to start shots after my next cycle.....the period never came!  I was already pregnant!

I was at my goal weight when I got pregnant.  Since then I have maintained, but I would like to lose down to 180 just for my own peice of mind.
