Dang I feel like a giant inflated balloon! Help!!!
So I'm only 14 weeks as of today and I feel like a completely over inflated balloon! I've never gotten to goal weight...am still currently 242lbs (dropped from over 400lbs at time of RNY in late 2004)...I haven't gained any weight in "lbs" however I have expanded...my jeans are extremely tight (or don't fit now) and I just feel "blah"![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/sick.gif)
Anyone else going through this? Bare with me here I'm slightly "pregnant ignorant" so I maybe asking dumb questions hahaha!![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/shrug.gif)
Seriously though....not so bad in my pelvic area/uterus but my actual stomach.....I feel like I swallowed a balloon that has been overly inflated and is getting worse by the day (or so it seems, along with the nausea and dry heaves)....![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/barf.gif)
Is this normal?

Hi, I don't have any words of wisdom, but just wanted to say you're not alone. I never got to a "goal" weight or size... I started this pregnancy at around 175 vs 260 when pregnant with my now 10-year old. but with things moving and shifting, I feel like I looked then. It's been quite a journey the whole WLS thing, so I think it's all kinda messed with my mind. I know at 175+ i dont "really" look like I did at 260, but some days you really couldn't tell me that- i think i look like a blob. But, we have created a miracle and must try to keep that in sight :)
Are you eating a l lot of salty stuff?
If it's primarily in your stomach area, you are far enough along to be showing, so don't feel bad.
If your legs and feet are retaining a lot of water, you could be developing gestational diabetes or something. But it is normal to have "some" water bloat while pregnant.

Thanks for the responses....As far as eating a lot of salty foods..nope not really... I don't add extra salt to anything but when I cook I do add some salt for slight flavor. Luckily my legs and feet haven't swollen but I'm still gonna inquire about testing me for it when I attend my next doc's appointment.
