Try B vitamins.  And peppermint tea was the only thing that helped me for a while.

The B6 is the vitamin that they told me to take 3x's a day! Hope it works for you. They also said for some reason that the combination of the B6 and half a somninex is great for the nausea! I think it is because you fall asleep and do not feel it! lol

I am alternating zofran and phergan when it gets bad like that. I also keep hard candy in my purse and keep crackers everywhere in my house. I eat about every 45 minutes to an hour even if thats a couple of crackers. I was not so bad with my last pregnancy but then again I was throwing up the whole last 2 months with her. You can do it! The doc has me alternating cause the 2 pills work differently and when I cant get anything down that includes water. So usually I take at least a couple pills a day then eat all the time and keep the candies around It will get better. Hey twins are not so bad

Oh, goodness! I hope I didn't offend! Twins are great! Awesome! fabulous, I'm just already dangling my toes over crazy, so I might just jump over, you know? Plus, my DH travles M-Th for work, and that would just be, well, I can't think about it. lol Good idea on keeping a stock of crackers and such. Will do!

Welcome to my world. I hope for your sake that it stops after your first trimester like some people do. Count yourself lucky that you never had this before... I had hyperemesis (severe-vomitting) with every pregnancy (all four of them). I am 25 weeks and still have to take Zofran just to be able to get out of bed. Simply rolling over will have me heaving like a pro. Ginger sometimes helps, they make ginger tea and some people suck on the crystalized stuff. It doesn't help me at all. I have to be medicated.

Just be thankful for the baby, focus on that and count your lucky stars that this is the first time and you didn't have to go through it everytime. Also remember to get plenty of fluids in to prevent dehydration which is a huge problem when you're puking alot.

Good luck and welcome to the toilet huggers club!

For me the only thing that has worked with the all day sickness has been protein.  Things like honey flavored greek yourt, cottage cheese, string cheese (or any type of cheese) My BF is a nutritionist and she told me that a lot of morning sickness is a protein issue....it worked for me:)  Good luck to you!

I delivered 6 weeks early a 5lb 15oz lil boy:)  After spending 2 months on bed rest in the hospital and Mason spending 11 days in the NICU, we're both home and doing great!  Mason is getting bigger and gaining weight like he should.  Now it's my turn to lose this weight!  It's tough to get back on the band wagon...I CAN do this!

I don't come on here much any more, and therefore missed your announcement!  Congrats on the baby.  I am 33 weeks with my 2nd and it is MUCH different than with Libby.  I am so uncomfortable, and I complain a lot LOL  I was never ill with Libby, and only had slight nauseau at the beginning of this one, but my whole body aches.  Libby was so tiny and her placenta was half the size it should have been so I never got very big.  This time around I think everything is how it should be and it shows.  Anyway, all pregnancies are different and I wish you the best and a healthy pregnancy.  If it continues this way I would definitely ask your doc for some anti-nauseau meds.
