Plug?
So, this morning I went to the restroom, and after wipping I had a large blob of mucus, and it was sort of yellow color. It kind of freaked me out a little, but I think it's just part of my plug?
I have also been having some other issue. On Friday, I was in labor & delivery triage for 4 hours because I thought I was leaking fluid. The weird thing is they tested the pad I was wearing, and it tested positive for amniotic fluid, but when they did a few differnt internal exams they couldn't get a positive result?? So, they did an ultrasound and my fluid level is really good, so they just wanted me to keep an eye on it, and check with my doc on Monday. I can not help but sit here and worry.

I've been leaking something very watery (I thought was pee until it had NO smell or color really) for about 2 months. I've had to wear a panty liner every day.
I've also had the mucusy fluid coming out fairly regularly for several weeks too. I don't think it's anything to worry about. No blood or anything. they say people can lose parts of the plug a little at a time and it also regenerates itself. I think we'll lose a bigger "blob" of it when the cervix dialates enough. Some people don't even know that they've lost it.
I don't really have an answer for you. I've never had any of my leaking fluids tested. ??? Just wanted you to know you're not alone.
Best wishes,
Kina

I had a internal exam with my first one that tested positive for Amniotic fluid at 32 weeks, and was admitted and then later induced. Well when my cervix went from a 2 to 0 they figured something was wrong and redid the test. they then could not get a positive. The doctor told me that they are very faulty that even discharge can cause a false positive on that test. If it is really amniotic fluid that you are leaking, you need to really be induced because there is a higher chance of infection if they don't. You are considered full term anyway right? Isn't it better to be safe than sorry?
