Itchy scars....

I know I have posted this in the past..but for those of you who had the laproscopic RNY and or the panni removal, what did you use for the itching of the scars?  Mine is unbearable and hydrocortosone is not touching it..HELP!!

I have 5 lap scars from my RNY and 4 from a gall bladder removal. They DO itch!! I guess the stretching, huh? 

Anyway, the only thing that really helps mine (at least for a little bit) is this Band-Aid brand anti-itch gel. I think the active ingredient that helps is camphor. We've had it in the medicine cabinet so long, I don't know if they still make it. But maybe something else with camphor in it would help you. Can't hurt to try..

I totally agree! I have one incision where my jp drain was and it is slightly scarred and a lot of times it ggets unbearably itchy- especially at night. I unfortunately haven't found anything that helps take the itch away myself, but I do feel your pain!
