When can you feel...
I was wondering when you can feel pelvic pressure. I was curious if what I am feeling is pelvic pressure from the baby. Normally when I get up and walk around I can feel like sharp pains around my pelvic area and low tummy area. Is that normal to feel? Kinda almost feels like your insides are going to drop to the floor?
I didn't feel any pressure that low until 34-35 weeks I don't think.
The only pressure I felt down in that area was when I sit it feels like I have one of those wooden toy letter blocks and I'm trying to hold it where my leg bends at my body. Like if you were standing and held the block at the top of your leg where it meets your body and then sat with it squished in between the two. Real comfortable, let me tell ya!!
Seems kind of early to be feeling the baby that low. But every one is different. I'd ask at your next appt. unless it gets unbearable.
Best wishes

I have a lot of pelvic pressure that's really low. I asked my ob about it because it feels very weird to me. She said it's just the uterus stretching and the effects of gravity due to my having some excess skin on the lower part of my stomach. It feels like there is a heavy rock in the bottom part of my pelvic region and when I lay on my back the pressure is sometimes unbearable- which she also attributed to the baby's positioning. Everyone is different, but at my sonogram the tech told me that my little guy is very low in my pelvis right now and the pressure in the next few weeks should get much better because the uterus will be shifting upward. Right now, he is head down with his butt up in my belly button...I asked a ton of questions LOL. So, I think we have to wait it out a few more weeks and it should start feeling some relief from the pressure- she also indicated to me that this pressure is very regular for first time moms. Hang in there girlie! I'm right there with ya- AGAIN lol
You're quite welcome! And trust me- I feel ya on the not knowing what to feel or what the hecks happening. I asked what to me seemed like 1000 questions my last appointment and my NP said- "that's all ya got for me?" LOL I have the pelvic pressure quite a bit- it seems to be a little stronger when I'm up and walking first thing in the morning, but I am definitely feeling it. I think I popped over night and gained 10lbs this week!! LOL Here's to hoping not, but it's hard to believe I'm working on week 23 and you on week 24...where did the time go? Wow! We'll have our little ones in our arms in what seems like no time at all!!
