PPI stopped working

Im 7 weeks along and almost 3 months post op. It seems as though since Ive been pregnant, my omeprazole has completely stopped working. Any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone else?

I was on Nexium for both of my post op pregnancy's. It is a class "B" drug. Omeprazole (Prilosec) is a class "C" drug, and I wasn't allowed to be on it for the pregnancy's. You can check it at www.safefetus.com. I would ask your dr. to switch you over to Nexium. Nexium is a better drug as far as helping with the heartburn/GERD!

OMG! Thank you for the info ladis. Im a bit upset to hear that I shouldnt be taking it when my surgeons office and my nutrition office know that I am on it and know that I am pregnant and no one has bothered to tell me to stop! Thanks again and I will be calling them pronto!!!
