prayers...

My sister's new boyfriend, but family friend for years and years got into a serious car accident last night going home from my house.  He is in the trauma unit right now.  He broke his back, has a brain bleed, a punctured spleen and broken legs...  Miraculously enough he is talking, coherent, and can move his legs, toes ect..  this was his car

wow! that's horrible! I'm glad he is coherent.....praying for him to recover completely!

Holy ****! I hope he comes through it all okay. How in the heck did it happen?!

he doesn't remember.  first he said a deer, then he said a car pulled out in front of him.  He does text a lot like all the time.  He may have been texting and swerved.  either way I have stopped texting while driving cold turkey.

Oh, girl. I live in Los Angeles. You don't need to tell me about bad habits while driving... I see it every day! Not a day goes by that I don't nearly get sideswiped by someone on a damn cell phone. It REALLY irritates me when I see people who have children in the car doing it. It's against the law and people do it anyway. There's nothing that's SO important that it can't wait until you're stopped!

Regardless of how it happened, I hope he makes a full recovery. It's going to be a hell of a rehabilitation for him with a broken back and all. Poor guy.

My gosh, I hope everything works out and you all pull through ok.
