Wow!! Felt my baby...

I know it seems early, I'll be 17 weeks on Monday but I swear I felt the baby...I had my hand on the side of my tummy and I flet it under my hand, small but distinct.

Then later that night, I was in the shower and I was looking down at my tummy and just below my belly button, I watched my tummy go in and out.

It was the neatest thing. I find myself more and more often now just staring at my stomache wondering what I'm going to see next.

Hope y'all are having a great weekend!
Hugs,
Jessica

I started feeling (from the outside) the baby kick around then. I actually went in for my U/S at 17 weeks and we felt the baby kick at the U/S.

That is so cool Lianne.

I go in for my major ultrasound on November 2nd...seems so far away yet I know it's just around the corner.

I think it's funny, everyone I know is convinced it's a girl!!  Yet the U/S I had at 14 weeks the doc said "probably boy"...so I can't wait to see what this baby decides to show us  :-)

Thanks again Lianne.

I'm just a day ahead of you and this past tuesday while I was siting here on the computer..I felt the baby moving all around...since then it is rare and few and far between but the OB told me friday that it is possible...but it won't be steady yet!!

I have been feeling the baby for awhile now...kind of like a pressure ball moving from one side to the next and then up to my belly button.
This was the first time I felt it externally....so that was just super amazing.

I know it's kind of few and far in between, but I treasure it every time  :-)

Congrats on feeling your baby too!

I agree!! When I was pregnant with my daughter, so long ago, I was 300lbs and never felt pregnant, let alone felt the baby too much. This is such a different experience!! My ultrasound is nov 1st and I hope the baby is not shy...I am concvinced its a boy..we will see!!!!

It's fun being so close in due dates!
And similarities...I was almost 300 pounds with my first pregnancy.

Everything is different this time and I love it!!!!!!!!

My ultrasound is the 2nd. I can't wait!!
Good luck!

That seems about right! I felt my baby move between 16-17 weeks, also. Just wait till you're lying in bed and you can look down at your belly "jumping." THAT'S a trip! My husband laughs and laughs. It IS kind of funny to see... but I'm sure it'll get old fast when she's big enough to stick her foot between my ribs, LOL!

The fun things to look forward to.
You know, this is one of those moments that I was so excited for because of the weight loss.

I just remember that before I lost weight, when I was nearly 300 pounds and pregnant with my son, I didn't get to see all those movements, feel those movements, or even have anyone acknowledge that I looked pregnant until it was nearly my due date.

I love that I get to experience all of this this time, and so much earlier.

Thanks!!!
