Just had my revision surgery and more hopeful than ever!
I had my band to sleeve revision on Tuesday! I'm doing really well post-op and I'm just full of hope and excited about the future!
I had been TTC for several months but wasn't even getting my period due to PCOS and still being so heavy. I decided to TTC anyway, with my doctor's support, because a revision was not in the cards for me due to insurance. I finally won my appeal and am back on track now!
And the coolest part... I got my period yesterday! First time since May!
Now I just have to be patient and keep working on the weight loss for a year before TTC again. I am going to take the time to track my cycles and see how much better things get in that department!
I am so thankful and grateful!!!

I'm hoping to be band to bypass revision soon with hopes of concieving. My husband and I had IVF last year with no success. I'm hoping to try again after I'm approved for the surgery and about 1 yr post op. My goal is to lose about 130 lbs within the first yr. I've tried acupuncture for inferility and it really helps with getting your periods on track and your blood flowing. I did it for about 2 months every week, I'm going to start going back about 2 months before I go for IVF, my RE recommended acupuncture before treatment before. I wish you and everyone else who's TTC the best of luck and baby dust.
