Having a weird sort of day..
Today I went to my doctor... yesterday I spent the day miserable with allergies, sneezing and stuffy nose. I took about everything and nothing was helping.. Slept like crap..so I stayed home today...I knew I couldn't concentrate.
Went to Dr and he gave me 2 injections.. 1 for anthihistamine and another for the congestion. Also prescribed me stronger Allegra, nasal spray and another pill for nighttime. I am feeling a bit better although still with some runny nose..but I haven't been congested.
I have a dilemma... I have been exercising at least 4x a week... I am debating if I will get up early tomorrow to workout. I don't have any fever or anything. it's just this nasty allergies. I got the Biggest Loser Fitness Program book and I like their exercise circuit.
Also... I ordered my regular prescriptions thyroid and the Fortamet for ovulation/pcos purposes via the mailorder because its' cheaper than local pharmacy. Anyway... the mail order pharmacy switched my medication from Fortamet 1000mg 2x to Metformin ER 500mg 2 tablets 2x/day. I am sort of nervous about the switching because years ago I took metformin (but I don't remember if it had the ER next to it) and gave me serious gastrointestinal issues. I called to ask and they told me that they have called the dr and the dr authorized the switch. It is significant savings.. Fortamet for 90 days supply would be $150 vs Metformin for 90 days supply is $14. I asked if I could try taking it to see how I react to it and if I can't tolerate it if I could call and switch it to Fortamet and they told me yes.. that they will send me a prepaid envelope to send whatever I have left back and they'll send me the original prescription.
I feel very blah today... low energy... I bet is the allergies.. just feeling this runny nose is getting to me..
Have any of you tried the Biggest Loser Workout routine from the book? I like it because they have 3 variations so I don't get bored.
Thanks,..
