Picking myself back up lol
Well, my ultrasound was in fact NOT today and after crying and gushing over the phone to just about all my family members- I went to my 20 week appointment and I'm feeling much much better.
Here's the good stuff I found out that turned my day around:
BP 120/70 (excellent!!)
HR 139bpm (first heart rate I've been told YAY!)-oh and could be a boy right?? ;)
Blood sugars 73 (good)
Hemoglobin (something or other lol) 5.3, but told this was good too
Weight: 193- total gain of 8lbs at 20 weeks
Genetics testing- came back with no markers- so also awesome!
So, after one small peice of BAD news, I got excellent news and just hearing that strong heartbeat made my frown turn upside down. Ultrasound is now rescheduled for next Monday at 3:20pm. My NP told me that going to the hospital would not be beneficial because they would not have told me the sex or even given me pictures- so 1 more week we shall wait!!
I reminded myself on the way home- so, you don't have your scan or pics or sex, but God still has blessed me with a healthy baby and momma and I couldn't ask for more :)

That's great that you had a good check up and the baby is healthy!
I don't put much faith in the old wives tale about heart rate. With my twins, one was always in the 130's and one was in the 150's, and they're identical twin girls. With #3 (a boy), he's been consistantly in the 150's since my 8 wk ultrasound.
