Good morning everyone,
I was thinking a couple of days ago that I didn't feel sick at all. Being that I tend to be a negative person, I was worried that perhaps there was something wrong with my pregnancy. Well that all changed. I am now 7 weeks and the nausea ha**** hard. I am finding I can no longer tolerate my protein drinks. My surgeon told me to be sure and get at least 100 grams of protein now that I am pregnant.
Any suggestions?

String cheese
1% cottage cheese (you can mix unflavored protien powder into this relatively easy)
Bubba turkey burgers with mozeralla melted on top
Any lean ground beef
Wendys Chili
So far I haven't had any nausea, but am looking fowward to it because I have been eating like a pig, lol. The biggest protiens I've found so far are beef, chicken, & turkey. Fish too if you can tolerate it.. Be careful to get some carbs from fruit and grains, protien only is bad for pregnancy. Good luck!

I can tell you what has worked for me. I have had "all day sickness" from way before I even thought I was pg. But in the last 2 days I have found what has worked for me is; protein. At night before I go to bed I have a little maybe 2 TBSP of honey flavored greek yogurt with some wheat bran ( I get VERY constipated with PG) and throw in some granola. Then in the AM I might try 1/2 stick of string cheese, or more greek yogurt. I have now gone 2 whole days (well I'm 1/2 through day 2) and haven't been nauseas!!! I also keep on hand dried fruits and nuts. My BFF who is going to school to be a naturaopathic physician told me that most morning sickness is caused from protein deficiency. Not all, but some. Well it appears it's mine!:)
Good luck!
Good luck!
I delivered 6 weeks early a 5lb 15oz lil boy:) After spending 2 months on bed rest in the hospital and Mason spending 11 days in the NICU, we're both home and doing great! Mason is getting bigger and gaining weight like he should. Now it's my turn to lose this weight! It's tough to get back on the band wagon...I CAN do this!
