Periods and BF'ing

So my almost 10 month old Bella is still BF about 4-6 times during the day she is sleeping through the night!! I got my AF at about 4-5 month and then at 6 and 7. It has been light to med! Then the last 3 months I am spotting/bleeding all the time. I bleed like a period every 2 weeks and in between that I spot. The Dr says almost anything is normal while BF'ing. Did anyone else go through this??

With my twins, AF didn't return for over a year. And when I did start having periods again, they were very light/spotting, barely enough to wear a pad.

Everyone is different. One of my best friends who BF her son had AF return to normal at  6 weeks postpartum and she BF her son for 16 months.
