When & where did you make yours?
After price comparison searching, I decided on Amazon. The prices are soooo much cheaper that BRU and they have a bigger selection. Plus, I picked stuff with free shipping (anything over $25.00). Half the stuff I liked at BRU was available online only. I can just forsee everyone in my family wandering into BRU the day of my shower saying "gee, they don't have this here, lets go buy her a bunch of newborn sized outfits instead". LOL.
A bit early to worry about this, but I love bargain hunting :)

I had one at Target and Amazon, I made the registry at 20 wks, my shower was planned for 30wks but my girls were born the same day my shower was supposed to be.
At the time Amazon was doing a special for six months of free diapers from Seventh Generation ($250 value) if you purchased $750 in items off your registry. I'm not sure if they still do that deal, but it was awesome.

I thought about doing an online registry, but a lot of people I know don't like to buy things "sight unseen." It does kind of irritate me that half of it is available online only when you make your registry online... so I went to the BRU and WalMart in my area and scanned stuff so I know they actually stock it in stores.

I love Amazon. I do most of my Christmas shopping there every year. The prices are always good, and it get's delivered right to my door. Can't beat that.
I also asked them if people have the option of having the baby registry gifts sent to them, instead of me, and they said yes, absolutely.

we did ours at 20 weeks when we found out she was a girl.  I know a LOT of people who hate online shopping, I would do an instore one like target also.  I hate bru!

We did a wedding registry at Bed bath & beyond a year ago. We went and scanned stuff, and barely got anything off of it. Lots of people were told the items were out of stock, or couldnt find them in the store. I can see this happening anywhere though.

I started looking like 2 months ago tho lol I'm planning on using Amazon and Target because I'm having 2 showers...one in my hometwon the day after Christmas and another here in late January!

Chelle, I got one better for you...How about when my husband and I was just TRYING for my now 3 year old son Tyler I setup a registry for HOPEFUL showers...Now talk about being a little nutty and obessed..that's me So your 9 week registry setup is perfectly fine and as soon as I found out I was preggos with my baby now (which was at about 5 weeks) I setup a registry. Okay, a little embarrassed to admit that, but I love picking out baby stuff. Have fun sweetie.

I thought about setting up a registry already but didn't for 2 reasons. 1) I wanna know the sex of the baby to pick out stuff and 2) when i signed up for stuff for my wedding it was too early. By the time guests went to buy off the list half the stuff was no longer in stock. On top of that.. I STILL got 4 blenders.. despite NONE being on my registry!!

I have to say I'm jealous of your excitement. I'm 24 weeks and I can't get excited because I lost my last baby at 25 weeks. My friends keep asking me about a shower and what I need and I don't want to think about it yet. I hate that my reality has been jaded. Enjoy your pregnancy and all the planning that goes with it!!! :)
