FRIDAY TTC POST (who is makin a baby??)

Congratulations to Caley on your bfp! Have a happy and healty nine months hon!
Elani~ I just replied to your post about hubby. Please know that you guys are in my thoughts and prayers. I think your love and commitment to your husband is awesome. Reminds me a lot of myself. The road can be tough, but just be sure to make time for each other outside of ttc and also to communicate. Keep me posted ok.
Jenn~ Welcome to the post! Hope the end of this 2ww finds you with a bfp!! Keep us posted.
Courtney~ Welcome. Just wanted to wish you loads of baby dust. Have you been doing an opk or anything to make sure you are getting your timing right? Keep us posted.
Julia~ I am not sure about vitex and lp...but wanted to make sure you are charting your first day as the first day of full red flow. It would give you a longer lp and also a shorter time to o. Good luck and keep us posted.

Well I wish the rest of you baby dust....and bfp's...here is to another cycle!
Courtney
Just had a baby....working off 25 lbs!
Although hubby and I have taken a break from treatments we are not avoiding getting pregnant. I am just keeping track of my periods and actually this month it occurred to me to check for ovulation and I am ovulating these days...trying to do some babydancing but without expecting anything.. i don't want to get my hopes up.
I am working on weight loss right now... last week I lost 6 lbs because I followed the food guidelines as I should. I still have to sit and study if I am really eating enough. Last week I met with the exercise physiologist that saw me preop and gave me some good advice. One of them was up my cardio intensity. I do walk everyday...during the week I do walk at least 1/2 hour...of those days he wants me to do 3 of them on the treadmill at a 3.0 -3.5 mph at 5-8% incline. Well, I did this on Wed but I could only manage to do 20 mins switching between 2.8-3.0 mph at 5% incline and it was hard!!!! The next day I walked but with the dogs.. Yesterday I woke up feeling under the weather...sinus issues and body ache..my back mostly..wonder if I am doing something wrong when walking on treadmill.
He set me a goal to lose 10 lbs (I have already lost 5 of the 6 lbs when I saw him) by Dec 4th which I have an appt with him and it will be like a personal traning session because he will see how I am doing the weight training.
I feel okay...although sometimes I do have my moments....
Good luck to all of us that are TTC.
Have a great day!
CD 2 today...AFshowed back up on schedule yesterday. I talked to the dr in the States, *****ally didn't have a lot of input on alternative treatments. He did ask me to do a Hemoglobin A1C test, which I did and got a result of 5.5%, which according to the results is 'normal,' - with normal being a range of 4-6. I sent the results off to him to see what he says. Depends on what I read online...5.5% seems to be the borderline between the normal and heading into the high range, but since I don't know anything about A1C levels, I've no idea. I'll ask the med unit at work next week also to see what they say.
The genetic results came back from last month's mc and the Bulgaria genetisist says that they are normal...the dr in the U.S. said they only tested the most likely chromosome problems, but that there are others they did not test, so he can't rule out a chromosome problems (ie he still thinks it's a chance of bad eggs). However, he did say it was unlikely that with five consecutive miscarriages, chances of there being a chromosome problems every time is unlikely.
I am supposed to let this cycle pass, let the next one pass, then I can try again. The regular ob/gyn here in Bulgaria (who is the only dr who does not believe it's a chromosome/age/bad eggs problem) believes it's the genetic blood clotting problem (Factor V). I saw her for a one month follow up from the d&c, she said everything looks fine. I have an unruptured follicle (she said it's too small to be considered a cyst) on my right ovary, which I've never knowingly had before, but she said by the next cycle, it would be gone. After the next cycle starts (presumably mid-November) then she wants me to start taking the Lovenox injections daily before I get pregnant (in addition to the baby aspirin, folic acid and my regular vits)...and to continue them until I get pregnant again.
Good luck to everyone TTC. I hope you get your BFPs quickly, and that they're sticky beans.

BTW...we are TTC #1 since 9/10, currently on Clomid
It says August, but that got changed because of the cycle before that one.
Baby dust to all!!!
Thank you again. I really appreciate your kind words. After we got the results back on Wednesday from his SA, I couldn't believe it. I really thought everything on his end was ok. But then, driving home from work after I just had gotten the call, I couldn't figure out how I was going to give him the news of the results. When I came home and explained it to him, he got upset, understandably, but then I just looked at him and felt like we were 10 times closer because we HAVE to be strong. I know if we crumble and get depressed it'll effect us ever getting pregnant (stress is no good at all). After hearing all these different ladies on this board giving me their stories of their hubby's not having the best results either who went on to have healthy babies, we are much more optimistic than before. I am also glad that I am only 26 (27 next month), so I am still young and I know there is plenty of time to worry before it will medically become more difficult in my 30's.
Thanks again, to everyone who has helped me with kind words. I hope to shed more light on what we can do after I visit my new Gyno and he visits his Urologist on Monday.
Good luck to the rest of you TTC. Baby dust to all. :) <3
P.S. AF is 3 days late - tested this morning, but BFN.
Still lurking in the shadows here...LOL Got AFabout a week and a half ago and have been given the go ahread to ttc again. Got put back on Clomid 100mg for this cycle. Using the $store opks, just waiting for a positive, then getting down to the serious bding...lol. Currently on CD12. Hoping for a great outcome this time. You can update me on the list....
