Nexium packet - babies
Mine took Prevacid dissolvables & Zantac sprinkles @ various times during their infancy. How old is your little one? You can dissolve it in a few teaspoons of formula, water, or juice (depending on how old baby is). Mine always took it better in juice because it masks the flavor. Also, I tried to give it to them when they were really hungry. Then, they guzzled it down before they realized what it was. You can put it in 1-2 oz of formula, but you have to be sure they take it all. Are you using a dispenser with a nipple or a syringe? With a nipple, it kind of bypasses their taste buds & they seem to get it down faster. Hope this helps ; )
He used to be on prevacid dissolvable and that was easy. He is 2 months.
The nexium is really hard to disolve. It is like sugar in cold water. We increased the amount of water and made it hot to try to dissolve it. It won't pass through the nipple. We try out of a dropper and he doesn't do the greatest with it. The pediatric GI office just said do the best you can.
