i spent this morning in L&D

So I figured we were doing pretty well this time around. I had only been in the ER once this pregnancy so far.... well... that ended today. Yesterday I kept feeling really low pressure and it felt like the baby was right on my cervix. So I went home and laid down all evening... well this morning it was back so of course my dr is in surgery all day so they sent me to l&d. Turns out that baby is implanted much lower than my son was and that I have a "super huge gigantic raging UTI" (yes, that's what the doctor said) she went on to say that she didn't know why it hadn't hit my kidneys yet and that the WBC were to numerous to count.

Oh joy.

It was causing the pressure/pain in my back and across the front of my lower abdomen... good news is that Keiran is okay... bad news is that I have to take nasty anti-biotics.

Me and you both sistah! I had the same problem on Friday. Went to see my doctor and they called me on Monday with the news of UTI and a prescription of nasty antibotics.

Ever since RNY I always get yeast infections from anti-biotics.... so that's fun, plus i'm allergic to penicillin so that makes it so much fun.

I was just gettin' ready to tell you to get ready for the yeast infection that comes w/the antibiotics. 

Hope you're feeling better soon.   It's good that, as bad as the UTI is, it didn't get to your kidneys.
